Hands-on Epigenetics Workshop

SNIoE, 2026

Epigenetics has emerged as one of the most powerful approaches for understanding how gene regulation controls development, disease, cellular identity, and environmental responses. Modern chromatin profiling techniques such as Cut&Tag and ATAC-Seq now allow researchers to map chromatin accessibility and protein–DNA interactions with remarkable sensitivity, low input requirements, and high resolution.

We are pleased to announce a fully sponsored five-day hands-on workshop on Cut&Tag and ATAC-Seq workflows, organized by the Center of Excellence in Epigenetics (COEE), Department of Life Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE), and sponsored by Sun Pharma Science Foundation.

The workshop will take participants through an intensive end-to-end experimental workflow, from sample preparation to sequencing-ready library generation. Participants will gain practical experience in experimental design, sample handling, quality-control checkpoints, troubleshooting, and next-generation sequencing library preparation workflows used in modern epigenomics research.

The five-day program (July 13–17) will include hands-on training in:

The workshop is designed for students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists who wish to develop practical expertise in chromatin and epigenomics workflows through direct laboratory training.

All experimental reagents, accommodation, and meals will be fully covered for the participants.

Due to the intensive hands-on nature of the training, participation will be limited to 25 participants. Kindly register your interest.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Workshop!
